About Rieneke Reijnen

Rieneke Reijnen is a Dutch litigation lawyer with twenty years of experience in complex commercial disputes.

She focuses on civil litigation involving corporate disputes, civil fraud, directors’ liability and contractual claims. Her work often involves cases with extensive facts, multiple stakeholders and international aspects.

Rieneke combines a detailed understanding of the case with a strategic use of Dutch procedural law. She focuses on what ultimately matters: the facts, the evidence and the arguments that move the case forward. 

She is regularly involved in demanding proceedings: as counsel for clients, or alongside other lawyers as part of a wider litigation team.

Her experience includes proceedings before Dutch courts, cross-border disputes and matters involving evidence preservation, disclosure, interim measures and the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.

Before founding Reijnen Litigation in 2019, Rieneke worked at leading Dutch litigation practices including Houthoff, Spigt Litigators and bureau Brandeis.
